To advise that our steward, friend and mentor Alan Scarth died on August 13, 2021. A most appropriate and manificent story of Alan's remarkeable life and efforts can be found at www.legacy.com\theglobeandmail. Alan wanted no fanfare although he was so deserving of the same. I am sure I am just one of very many who now dearly miss our "five-minute" one hour plus telephone chats, most often about carbon or carbon or carbon.
